Sometimes you just want to pamper yourself, or someone you know, but the hardest part is finding the right place, especially when most spa services can be rather spendy. When investing money into spa services, you want to know you are really getting the most for your dollar, weather you are looking to splurge or even if you are on a budget, hopefully that they have hired a hairdressing salon fitouts to make the place look modern. Every year, Payton and I treat each other to a spa day for our birthday and we usually always default to the same place. Which, don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with doing the same thing over and over, but we literally just didn’t know of any other places to go. So, that got me thinking, there has to be other places around, right?! Turns out there is! So, I have done my research and tested out a bunch of different places to bring you the ultimate spa list for all spa and medi spa needs and desires in the Seattle area. Penelope The Beauty Bar is a gorgeous boutique spa inside the Fairmont downtown Seattle which has the newest gadgets like these hot tubs that are inflatable. I must start with that they have the best service in the whole city. I scheduled my mom and I appointments to celebrate her birthday and somehow I totally goofed and ended up showing up on the wrong day. To my surprise they were so kind and make sure were were still able to get in. Not only were they kind about it, but they took the blame upon themselves and upgraded our services for us at no cost. I was in shock, most places would have sent us on on way telling us to come back on the planned day! I am booking with them again just for their service!
Not only was their service top tier, but our massages were some of the best we have had (and my mom is picky guys). We opted for the 80 minute signature massage. Before the service began, we were taken into a quaint relaxing area where we were offered champagne and robes to change into. One of the most memorable parts of our experience were the massage beds. We both came out of our massage and the first thing we said was how COMFY the beds were, like I want that as my fabric tv bed at my house! My masseuse was amazing and really paid attention to the details during the massage which is totally the difference between a good massage and a great massage. Afterward, we were taken to the changing area and were offered more champagne and we were able to just relax until we were ready to leave. The perfect place to spoil your mom, or yourself!
I have since gone back again for a facial experience unlike any I have had before! I got the Instant Lift-Micro Current facial and also added on the CooLift Cryo Facial. Talk about TONED, LIFED, and TIGHTENED. I felt beyond rejuvenated and refreshed, not to mention my whole face felt like I got a facelift. It was incredible. They call the CooLift Cryo the “red carpet facial” because you can do it right before the red carpet, aka there is no down time. Ask about their eye cream while you are there. It is life changing.

If you have followed me for awhile now, you know I go to lashbombsalon.com almost twice a month now. I originally found them because I was on the hunt for a Lash Lift place near me and just happened to stumble upon them on Instagram. I am huge on lash lifts over lash extensions because I love my natural lashes, the only problem is that they have zero curl to them naturally, so the lash lift is a game changer for me! The spa is beyond cute and trendy and they make you feel so welcomed and relaxed from the moment you arrive. Ask for a Spritz (even if it isn’t 5pm) – trust me.
I’m not even sure how to say this without sounding cheesy, but the Oxygeneo facial has changed my skin and my life. I have never been able to keep my skin clear (thanks genetics) or feel comfortable not wearing makeup. After two months of seeing Rachael for the Oxygeneo (1 facial a month) my skin was clear. I thought it was just a streak of luck, but my skin has not broken out once since I began the facials. It has now been 6 months, and you bet your ass I am not stopping anytime soon. It is hard to find an extension place in the Seattle area, so if you are on the hunt this will be your place! City Sweats

Looking for a place to just relax and sweat out some toxins? City Sweats is your place. Payton and I went together and got a 2 person sauna cabin which is basically just your own private sauna equipped with Netflix, Hulu, or your choice of music. We opted to watch a full episode of Scandal during our 50 minute sweat session. I think my favorite part is the beach room, post sweat, where you get to relax in comfy chairs in the softest white beach sand while enjoying oranges and a detox beverage which is perfect right after sweating your ass off. They also have a shower for when you are all done so you don’t have to leave all sweaty!
ZumaTan
-Custom Spray Tan
The only person who I trust for a spray tan is Leanne from ZumaTan. The best part? She comes to you. She is the sweetest ever and makes you feel beyond comfortable (I choose to go totally nude and don’t feel weird at all). TMI?? I recently started seeing her in the past year and she has changed the tanning game here in Seattle. It is perfect for events, weddings, vacations, or even just a weekly tan. She books out, so get on her books ahead of time. TIP: ask for the ab contour.

I went and saw Amaris at Skinspirit in Bellevue for a few units of botox between my eyebrows. She was great, it was quick, and pretty much painless. I will say, it was expensive and I think I am going to be trying out a different place next. My mom just found a great lady who did an amazing job on her so I will keep you posted when I go there!
Yuan Spa

This is the closest to a full day spa experience you will get in the Seattle area. What I mean by that is that they have a sauna, steamroom, and hydrotherapy pools in addition to their services.
The Larrabee Center

If you follow me on Instagram, check out my highlight called HALO LASER on my profile for some context. I recently took my mom to The Larrabee Center for Plastic Surgery where she got the HALO laser treatment done. If you don’t know what HALO is, check THIS out for all the details. Basically it is the world’s first Hybrid Fractional Laser. “It delivers both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to the same microscopic treatment zone” AKA it makes you look young and flawless by removing years of sundmage, deep wrinkles, and even acne scars. Anyway, I did a ton of research and after being given the opportunity to do HALO myself, I thought it would be far better for my mom to have the treatment done since she would see better results than I would (my skin is still young). She just had the treatment done so I will be updating this post with her results and before and afters soon.
In general though, I will Pay my doctor for more treatments, he has been wonderful so far and I would highly recommend him. They have great reviews which is the primary reason why my mom and I both felt comfortable going there. They have both an aesthetics center (botox, filler, facials, etc) and also a surgery center (face lifts, lasers, nose jobs, etc).
