Hey guys, it’s been awhile! I’ve been trying to survive this quarter of school which means blogging ends up taking a backseat sometimes. Remember when I told you I was excited to be trying a couple new things (programming and sewing?), yeah, turns out I hate trying new things. I enjoy being good at at the things I do and these two skills and I just don’t gel. What can I say, I like to boost my confidence any place I can, not tear it down. I’ll just stick to outfits and networking for now 😉
I recently was interviewed by one of my friend’s here at SPU, Sarah, who writes a style column for our school newspaper, The Falcon. My mom seemed to be proud of me so you can check it out if you want at The SPU Falcon.

Since I’m always on the go and rarely have time to brush my hair in the morning (I guess I could wake up earlier…) I have gravitated to this easy outfit formula that never fails me.
1. Statement Blouse
2. Denim (try a raw hem, embroidered, or a fun detailed pair to up the look)
3. Belt
4. Slip-ons
The best part? You only need a few pieces of each category and you can mix and match, creating looks for weeks!
