This past Monday I partnered with BCBG to create my favorite looks for the Style Up event at Pacific Place. In true fashion, I fell in love with all of the fun outerwear pieces as I browsed throughout the store. I opted to create five different fall/winter looks that best represented BCBG and my own personal style. I was drawn to statement pieces such as the white draped collared belt coat and the embellished leather moto jacket. My featured look was a workwear inspired matching set with a box statement bag. The other four outfits represented a different time of day of the week, occasion, or emotion. The white draped collared jacket outfit was created as a week day look for running around the city. Leather leggings underneath a long turtle neck dress finished off with the statement outerwear piece makes it perfect for getting around the bustling city in the cold. The all black ensemble was inspired by a chic cocktail party or night out. A long laced slip under a buttoned vest turns two rather simple pieces into a one piece wonder, perfect for going out in. Next was the easily transferable day to night outfit. The suede fringe dress and the burgundy leather jacket create a look that is wearable for a lunch date with friends, but with a swipe of lipstick and a change of heel, it can be transformed into a “dance all night” kind of look. The last look included my favorite piece out of every outfit. This rocker chick look is full of textures and patterns and isn’t for the girl next door. Textured black leggings paired with a black crop and the fabulous embellished moto jacket screams concert or punk chic any day of the week. All you would need is a little messy hair and you are set to rock.
I enjoyed being able to share my own personal style and passion with the people that attended the Style Up event. Nothing is more rewarding than people coming to see you at an event because they love your blog-it was definitely such a great and confirming feeling. Thank you to all of you that came out to see me.
